Following up their 2004 gold-certified #34 Volume EP; their self-titled debut album claims the #1 position this week. Released on their own label and distributed by independent music distributor Border, it’s the first independently distributed chart-topper since Fat Freddy’s Drop’s Based On A True Story. The album was recorded in New Zealand and mastered in London.”

The album features fourteen tracks that hold true to every facet of music that KORA enjoy, ranging in mood from groovy, to heavy and aggressive, and the graphics pay homage to a love of arcade games and epic moves.
Brand skanking new tracks include Skankenstein, Out of My Mind/Down The Road, an instrumental Skoolyard plus Culture with a guest appearance from the old man on slide guitar.
Two tracks, Burning and Crazy Things have evolved and been revamped from the original EP.
