Thursday July the 10th Fundamentals

Tonight we started off we some of John’s recent seminar stuff

1:Feet in our partners hips(toes out) and grabbing the collar with the left hand, then alternating to the right hand, then back again.

2:This time we were in the same position but our partner has grabbed our legs at the knees,to try and pass guard.As soon as this happened we would gang up on their right arm by gripping at their cuff with both hands and lauching backwards (Arms into lats for a stronger pull) breaking their grip and launching them forward til they almost face planted the mat.

3:Here we had the same postion as 2,but our partner had a really strong grip which was hard to break.so this time not only did we gang up on the right arm but we also used our left leg to kick forward breaking their grip.

4:Here we drilled both scenario’s of number 2 and 3.

5:This time our partner would sit back on their heels, and base themselves, so we used our left leg and placed it right in the middle of their chest and pushed them over to the left causing them to roll back.We then sat back away to re-position
